This high quality Ozone Generator. Uvonair Ultraviolet Ozonators(O3) is a colourless gas with a distinct, pungent odour. It occurs quite readily in nature, often as a result of lightning strikes that occur during thunderstorms. The "fresh, clean, spring rain" smell that we notice after a storm often results from natures creation of ozone. Ozone is a powerful oxidising agent that has the capacity to destroy bacteria, viruses and odours. A molecule of ozone is made up of three atoms of oxygen and is highly unstable. One of the three oxygen atoms will readily split off from the molecule and attach itself to any particle or pollutant with which it comes into contact. The oxygen atom will proceed to oxidise that particle. This means it 'burns' the particle, which neutralises any biological properties. As a result, the particle will no longer be toxic, and being unable to reproduce, it becomes completely harmless. When the single oxygen molecule oxidises the particle, it too is destroyed.
