Unhappy Plants

Here's a quick troubleshooter for some of the most common plant problems, we hope to build this information resource up over time so please keep checking back!

Plant Problems and Solutions
When	Problem	Why	Solution
Vegetive	Burned leaf tips, purple stems, burn spots	Nutrient overdose	Flush your nutrient for 4-6 days and see if this resolves the issue. Canna Flush is our recommendation to clean plants from any excess nutrients.
Vegetive	Stunted and slow growth	This could be due to a number of reasons including poor root health and nutrient overdosing	Flush the solution if growing in NFT, If you think your root base is rotting and in poor health you can rely on Microbial to revive your plants in days!!
Vegetive / Flowering	Stunted growth, tiny white spots on the underside of leaves	Spider mite infestation!	Heavily infested leaves can be manually removed by hand, less infected plants can be sprayed with Pest Off or Nite Nite Spider Mite
Vegetive / Flowering	Plant Wilting	Lack of water/humidity	Ensure your plant is kept well watered, you may need to re-pot your plant and possibly look at using some root enhancers if your plant is not too far gone!
Flowering	Slow growth with small buds	feeding, ph in-balances, light intensity and ventilation can all be possible issues	Dependent on the exact cause there are a number of different remedies available - please read our range of fact sheet collections for more information.
Flowering	Older leaves (generally at the bottom working up ) are discolored	Nutrient deficient	With Canna Additive you can pinpoint your plant deficiency directly
Flowering	Grey area and condensation on the bud	Botrytis	Remove this section of the plant to try and stop this from spreading, reduce the humidity in your grow area and increase ventilation. Get some Bud rot Stop quick!
